Fig. 04 · Process

How a project runs with me

  1. a1c0f3e call

    A 30-minute call.

You show me what you have and what you need. I tell you honestly which platform fits, even if it's not the one you planned.

  2. b72d915 plan

A written plan and fixed quote.

Pages, features, timeline and price, before any work starts.

  3. c48e2a7 build

    Build in the open.

You get a preview link from week one and see progress as it happens, not at the end.

  4. d905b6c ship

    Launch and handover.

I launch, test speed and tracking, and show your team how to edit everything. You also get 30 days of fixes after launch.

Fig. 05 · Freelancer vs agency

Custom website development without the agency layers

With an agency, you brief an account manager, who briefs a project manager, who briefs a developer you never meet. With me, the person on your call is the person writing the code. You get agency-level process (written scope, preview links, version control, speed testing) with one point of contact and no markup for layers.

Agency

  • You brief an account manager.
  • A project manager passes it on.
  • The developer is someone you never meet.
  • You pay for the layers in between.

Working with me

  • You brief the developer.
  • Nothing is lost in handoffs.
  • The person on your call writes the code.
  • Written scope, preview links, version control and speed testing, with one point of contact.

I met Hafiz Ahsan on LinkedIn a few years ago, and I have been using his services to build my company website and then update it off and on. He is very polite and cooperative and always listens carefully to any instructions, implementing them in a timely manner with perfection. I know my website is in safe and skillful hands, and I will always be using Ahsan's assistance.

Questions before hiring a freelance web developer

No.Request for information · 5 received
RFI-01

How much does a website cost with you?

Resp.
Most projects are fixed-price after a short call. As a guide, a landing page starts from $200, a WordPress site from $500, a Shopify store from $700. You get the exact figure in writing before work starts.

Responded by H. Ahsan Ali · RFI-01

RFI-02

How long does a project take?

Resp.
A landing page usually takes 1 to 3 days. A full website or store takes 2 to 6 weeks depending on pages and features.

Responded by H. Ahsan Ali · RFI-02

RFI-03

Which platform should I choose?

Resp.
It depends on who will edit the site, what you sell, and your budget. I work in all the main platforms, so I recommend the one that fits rather than the one I prefer.

Responded by H. Ahsan Ali · RFI-03

RFI-04

Do you work with clients in the US and Europe?

Resp.
Yes. I work remotely from Lahore and overlap with US mornings and UK afternoons for calls. I'm available from 10am to 11pm Pakistan time (UTC+5).

Responded by H. Ahsan Ali · RFI-04

RFI-05

What happens after launch?

Resp.
You get training and documentation, and I stay available for fixes and changes, either per task or on a monthly care plan.
